For staying in Helsinki itself, rather than the office tower out in Keilaniemi, my regular choice is the Radisson Blu Seaside - right on the working harbour, with the ferries to Tallinn and Stockholm coming and going outside the window.

On my last trip to Helsinki I ate at two restaurants that happen to share the same trick - putting the dining room on top of an office tower. Lucy in the Sky for lunch, one floor below my company’s office, and Demo for dinner. Neither is a place you drop into on a whim.
